How a job works · Start to finish

Five steps, no surprises.

The same process whether it's a single stump or a full storm-response cleanup. Travis walks the property, writes the quote, schedules the job, runs the crew, and follows up when it's done.

Within 1–3 days of your call

Travis walks your property and looks at every tree you're concerned about. He'll tell you honestly what needs to go, what can stay, what might be saved with the right pruning, and what's a safety issue that needs moving up the schedule. No charge, no obligation, no pressure to book anything.

02

Written Estimate

Same day or next morning

You get a written quote covering exactly what's in scope, what cleanup includes, and what the timeline looks like. No vague line items, no "we'll figure out the cost when we get there." If something unexpected comes up mid-job, Travis calls you before proceeding — no surprise charges on the invoice.

03

Scheduling

Usually within 1–2 weeks

Most jobs are scheduled within two weeks of the estimate. Storm damage and active safety hazards jump the queue — those are handled as fast as possible. You'll get a confirmed date, and a call or text the day before with arrival time.

04

Safe, Clean Execution

One to two days for most jobs

Travis is on-site for every job — not just the estimate. The crew works clean: no tools left in the yard, no damage to surrounding lawn or garden beds, no shortcuts on rigging or fall zones. Every cut is made correctly. Every piece of equipment goes home at the end of the day.

Haul-Away & Follow-Up

Closeout

All debris hauled away or chipped on-site — your choice. If you want firewood logs left, just say so. Stumps ground to grade if included. Yard raked level and left tidy. Travis follows up within a week to make sure everything looks right and answer any remaining questions.

Frequently asked

Common questions.

A few things people ask before booking.

Do you need to be home for the estimate?

It helps to be there for the first walk-through so you can point out what you want done and what you want kept. If that's not possible, we can do an initial assessment and follow up by phone.

What if a stump is from a different contractor?

No problem. Stump grinding is a standalone service — it doesn't matter who did the removal. We grind to 8–12 inches below grade and rake the site level.

How does storm emergency response work?

Call (207) 655-8733 any hour. Life-safety hazards — trees on structures, hung limbs over occupied areas — are triaged first. We'll give you an honest ETA based on how many calls are ahead of you.

Can I keep the wood or chips?

Yes. Just tell us when you book. Logs can be left cut to firewood length. Chips can be left in a pile wherever is useful — good mulch for garden beds. Anything you don't want, we haul.
